Bubbles and Bubbles

On February 17, we held a very special party "with a twist" - to gather donations of essential toiletries for our local women and children's shelter.

We called it Bubbles and Bubbles - we supplied bubbles in the form of sparkling wine and our lovely clients, friends and guests supplied bubbles in the form of toiletries for the shelter.

We also had a special guest - Labour candidate Alannah MacTiernan, who was happy to voice her support to the shelter and the wonderful people who run it.

The night was a huge success, with two car loads of toiletries - from toothbrushes to sunscreen and everything imaginable in between - being collected for the shelter on the night. Karla's even had to do an additional trip for all donations from people who couldn't make it on the night, but who still wanted to help out.
